Halt looks at Arivain "Hey you may want to go check on your wolf something must be up"

One of the masked figures hears the barking. "Vulpes, it seems a little puppy has caught scent of our plan."

"Really now!?" Vulpes says. "Well... I guess it'll be quiet after the big bang... if you know what I mean!" she giggles.

Archie shudders when the shade speaks but cannot help but agree with them. "Yes something doesn't feel right."

Beneath the city. A group of five local rat people encounter the mysterious figures in masks.

The tallest of the bunch speaks, "You made the wrong choice when you came down into our territory! Clear out or else!"

Arivain looked at Halt before rising from her seat. She walks out the door and holds her hand out to Lucian who stops growling and licks her hand.

"Mellonamin, dina." (My friend, be silent.) Lucian obeys her although he was still nervous. What he had sensed was deep underground, within the sewers. There was no way for him to warn them of the danger that lie beneath them.

Vulpes looks at the rat person, "Clear out, huh?... That's a very poor choice of words, my friend..."

Mouse looks up at Matt and says, "I have a very bad feeling about this..."

Nithien rises and takes up his blades.

"Rashwe naa tulien." (Danger is coming.)

Nalrak rose as well, taking hold of his kusari blade

"Eteleht sa' a'sen." (Let it come.) Nalrak said with a a half grin. His accent when speaking elvish shows his drow side, even if there is nothing he hates more than the drow themselves.

"Well it's about time we start having fun" a dark portal opens and 5 of Halt's Shade warriors come out weapons drawn.At the same time Halt draws his double edged demon blade.

One of the masked figures talks to Vulpes, "We're finished here, milady. Our little present is now in place."

"Excellent. Well, we hate to leave, my dear rat people, but business is business!" she says, walking away from the rat people towards the exit. She talks into her walkie talkie again, "Phase one complete, proceed with phase two, over."

Equus talks into his walkie talkie, "Proceeding with phase two, over." He then appears from the shadows holding a megaphone in his hands. He stands facing the building where the meeting is taking place. He speaks into the megaphone, "Attention... attention..."

Arivain drew the frost bow from her back and raised a hand to her quiver, ready to knock an arrow at any moment. She looked in the direction of the voice as she gently set an arrow upon the string and drew back. Her solitary years in the tundra had taught her how to lead a target, even one that is not visible. Lucian growled louder now, and paced in front of her, jumping and lunging as if held back from attacking the hidden opponent.

"Come forth," she said still in a gentle tone.

Equus reveals himself to Arivain, "My my... Aren't you a lovely creature," he says, looking at Lucian. He then looks at Arivain, "And you're quite... chilling..." he says. "It's quite a shame," he smiles.

Arivain holds her ground, waiting to release the arrow until she knows what this person is up to. Lucian barks and growls viciously as he paces back and forth.

"What do you mean?"

Halt snaps his fingers and his Shades start disappearing and slowly appearing behind the heros and two behind the man.Halts Shades wisper to the heros "if shit goes bad we got you ".

Nalrak smiled confidently at the opportunity to shed some blood as he and Nithien rushed outside. Nithien did not draw his weapons, it was not his way to draw first. Nalrak however, had already pulled his Kusari out and held it tightly in his hand, ready to throw it forward and lash the enemy with the bladed chain.

"Come now, Nithien, this will be fun." Nalrak said with a maniacal smile. Nithien only shook his head at his brother's rash demeanor. Nalrak approached the man, baring his teeth in an sadictic smile.

Equus pulls out a detonator. "Now now, ladies and gentlemen... Any harsh moves and I'll blow this whole place to smithereens... You... All of these people... The beloved king... Will be dead."

Nalrak stoped and looks down upon the man, his expression the same sadistic smile.

"A threat from a man is such a distasteful mask, perhaps I should cut that off for you." he laughed, twisting the blade in his hand.

Arivain glanced to Lucian and he fell behind the group and out of sight. She held the string back, still aiming at Equus.

"What is there for you in killing all those here today?"

Archie slinks back into the shadows shortly and out of sight. His keen daggers are drawn and he is crouching low to the ground. A scrawny rat person approaches him. "Sir,we've located one of the whereabouts of an explosive beneath the city."

"Good," Archie whispered. "Keep looking while we entertain this nut job." He gestured to his guards. "If anything questionable happens, stay close to the back and be ready to run." Archie steps outside into the light, squinting.

"Mr. X, is it? What's going on here? You didn't strike me as a fellow to harm the innocent."

Equus looks towards Arivain, "It's simple, really... To send a message... To send a message to the whole world... To teach everyone the dangers of a world wrapped in greed and power... To teach everyone to stop being so high and mighty... To teach everyone their true meaning in this world."

Vulpes and Tamias appear from the shadow as well, along with the other masked people.

The group say together, "We... are Animal Farm... And we seek to change the world."

Nalrak laughs manaically as the masked individuals spoke.

"To change the world by killing the innocent? Sickening." Nithien says coldly.

Nalrak scoffs at them. "All I see are a bunch of lame animals needing to be put down."

Halt says jokingly "this is the last meeting i go to with this group,Now lets clam down and put the weapons down"

Liam simply smiles, no one has noticed him muttering in dragon tongue for the past few minutes. He laughs and looks up at them "And what world would you have? A mad man with a mask and some bombs? Thats what you are, a spoiled, pathetic, worthless rejection of an activist." he chuckles more and sighs while still laughing slightly "What do you think the world will learn from this? They will look at this and see a group of terrorists who need to be put down, and you will be. No message will come from this, besides your death warrant."

Arivain watched the group closely.

"All who now live know the dangers that lurk in the shadows, and you are among them. You seek to teach them by wielding power and greed yourselves...for these have many forms. Non of which can be escaped by any mortal being."

Lucian circled around the streets of the city until he came behind the group, cutting off their escape route. His growls were deep, low, and terrifying as if not from a wolf, but a demon. "Now hooded ones, you are cut off. There are those among you who would not be affected by the blast."

Matt and Mouse come out of the building. "So this is what all the commotion is about... Some people wearing latex masks... This has certainly been an interesting day." Mouse just holds onto Matt.

Equus looks at Liam, "What the world will learn... Is how pathetic life truly is... How easy it is to destroy, both physically and mentally... No matter how tough a person may seem to be, anyone can be destroyed..."
