Heroes Unite

A dark portal appears behind Liam and halt walks out "it has been fun my name is Halt by the way"

He looks at the newcomers, "I guess I should introduce myself as well... I'm Matt the Wyverntamer, and this is my 'partner-in-crime' Mouse." He then looks at the now quiet Mouse, seemingly afraid of Liam and Halt.

The dark elf continues to smile confidently as liam introduces himself.

"You're rather friendly for your kind. tch. Nalrak, son of Noquor...."

"Nithien, son of Noquor." the light one speaks coldly. "My brother and I have come because of the infection."

Liam smirks "I pride myself on being as different from my stuffy kin as i possibly can. I am quite proud to be a drakin, I'm simply unable to comply with their strict...trade laws." he smiles a laughs slightly.

Archie had shrunk away into the shadows after the shades had appeared. He has been...observing things. He emerges only now, much to the surprise to everyone, and shakes off the uneasy feeling the dark creatures had given him. "Please call me Archie, although I hardly think introductions are appropriate at this time. Forgive my rudeness but it seems as though we're all a little late for a meeting. Ring a bell?"

Liam nodded and chuckled "Yes we have been quite held up by the events of the day, lets get a move on to the main city hall shall we? We dont want them to start without us now do we?" he laughed and began to walk through the slowly growing crowd of 'heroes'. His Wyrms slithered back to his cart, protecting it except for the three he usually keeps on his person who slithered close at his feet.

Following Liam,Halt says "ai'er quena i'lambe tel' Eldalie?"

Archie's ears perked at the sound of the language from such a creature. "Hanya, ananta...I'm not very good at the language. I only know bits and phrases."

Arivain watched the elves closely, more closely than she had any others.

"Archie is right, have we not all neglected the sole reason for being here?"

"Hmm... a meeting, you say? I might want to stick around for this one... With all the interesting people here, who knows what might happen!" he chuckles.

Halt says "Manke naa lye omentien?"

The group of eight make their way to the large main government building located in the center of the bustling sky city. Armed guards await at the front of the complex to escort the travelers to the meeting room. Two adventurers already sit at a round table. A Drow and a Tundra/Murk Elf. A third more regal figure sits at the head of the table. He stand when the party enters and addresses them all.
"Greetings. I am the King here and welcome brave heroes, to my city. I wish it was under better circumstances. As you know a strange and terrible infection has been spreading across the land and is threatening our very existence. We call upon you brave souls to defend not just the human race, but all the peoples of the vast world from destruction and damnation. There will be rewards for those who make it back, for I shall not lie to you, you may not survive this ordeal. Who among you will be brave enough to answer this call?"

Nalrak walked passed Liam as they approached the building. His expression changed when he passed Halt.

"Lle holma ve' Tel'gothrim, feuyaer," (You smell like a Drow, disgusting.) he said in the same tongue as the creature. Nithien however, stayed back with the group and watched his brother's back. . . and keep his eye on someone else.

As everyone enters the room to go talk to the king,Halt goes and leans into the corner of the room waiting to see what will happen next.

Halt looks at the two elves and says "I'quelin Mori'Quessier naa ba Mori'Quessir"(the best Drow is a dead Drow).

Nalrak peered back at Halt and smiled.

"Amin weera yassen lle," (I agree with you) he said before turning back to the table.

'Mr. X,' as Archie calls him, watches the group from the shadows. "Yes, my unassuming friends, go to your meeting... It'll certainly go out with a... BANG!" he chuckles. He then pulls out a walkie-talkie and speaks into it. "This is Equus. Execute phase one of the plan, over."

Another voice, a female, responds, "I read you, Equus. Vulpes out." The female, wearing the same style of clothing as Equus, but with a fox head mask, waits in the sewers, along with some more masked figures. Vulpes speaks to one of them, a female with a chipmunk mask. "Tamias, are you ready?"

Tamias replies, "Born ready, Vulpes. Let's blow this place!"

Arivain entered the room and found a place a distance away from the others. Lucian remained outside, pacing back and forth in front of the building. He was not used to having to leave her side and was obviously nervous about what was occurring within the walls of the City Hall.

Lucian catches the scent of something below and begin to search the area, he growls in a low, warning growl. His instincts are keen, rarely does he ever react like this but he sense something is array.

Matt leans against a wall in the room, listening to the conversations. He looks at Mouse, "I knew things would be interesting... Now, lets see what the king here has to say about this Infection."

Mouse nods. She brings out a satchel of jelly beans and begins to eat them.

Nithien moves to the back of the room, he is not the type to announce his pressence. He leans his swords against the wall and sits with his arm acrossed his knee. This was not unusual for him, it was a resting stance but he would be able to retrieve his weapons and fight at any moment. Nalrak sat at the table and waited for the meeting to begin. He is obviously the more confident of the brothers and this often gets him into trouble.

Vulpes, Tamias, and the others begin to set up remote detonated bombs around areas of the sewers. They place them at areas where it would cause the most damage, but not in terms of destruction.

Halt looks at Mouse and says "Hello Mouse how are you" with and evil smile on his face

Arivain lifts her head up at the sound of Lucian's growls but remains within the building. Lucian continues growling in a low tone as he searches the ground above then, he catches scent of something dangerous. He barks and growls viciously, unrelenting in his alert. He laid his ears back, barking more profusely. Others might notice him after his intensity increased.

Mouse looks at Halt. She throws some of the jelly beans at him.

Matt then says, "Why don't you just leave her alone? Haven't you antagonized her enough already?..."
