THE MEETING

Arivain rose and walked toward Matt and Mouse.

"I will aid in the centaur campaign."

Nalrak stood from his seat. A sadistic half smile came across his face.

"I will go head off the infection. Sounds like fun, wouldn't you say, Brother?"

Nithien only rose and nodded.

Talas addresses the troubled female creature,
"Lady Shade, I am called Talas Everstar. Although, the existence of the Shade doth not seem right to me, I cannot stand idle while I watch thy mate's condition decline. If it pleases thee, I can teleport you to mine people in the north. There, we can expel that demon."
Talas turned his focus to the King.
"I will join those fighting in the East. I suggest that thou and thy mate do the same, Lady Shade. Thy skills would prove useful."

Archie ponders the two scenarios.
Hmmm. Possible death...or profitable diplomatic encounters...

"Well sign me up for Centaur mission. I'd rather meet these intriguing Centaurs. I can send some of my people to the infected lands if you so wish. They can act as fighters or scouts."

Jormung loosed his voice. "The manbeasts and my own people are bound in brotherhood in this world and in heaven. Like the Ruloandr they are close in touch with nature and with the gods. Our peoples have a long history of honor and trust. I would serve best in seeking their aid, as they will know me as a friend and ally. I go west, and wait my turn to join the fray. I will send a prayer to the eastern front."

"Fantastic," Matt says, "We should head there on my airship. It'll be faster than just walking there."

"Very well." The King nodded. "It is settled. Tyurnis, the Noquor brothers, Talas, Halt and Lorlelei will travel East to fend of the infection. Tread carefully though, we do not know what we are up against and I rather have you all come back alive. The rest shall head to the Centaur lands on Matt's airship to try and enlist the help of the Centaur. It is my hope that with their powers of healing that we can purify the infected lands."
He rose from his seat.

"Heros, now is the time to strike. We must eliminate the infection now, before it has a chance to take its roots in the world! You all have my blessings."
