The Black Market of Velios thrives in the southern swamps and in the lawless areas of Praugres , the massive nation only truly policing important cities and the main arteries of movement that connect them along with the general area around each cities. In what the main cities call the "Back Country" the only law enforcement are the bounty hunters and few citizens brave enough to try and stand up to the Gangs and Cartels.

There are many items illegal in the main nation of Praugres that are sold in the Back Country everyday, some items are as common to them as water to the main cities, but others are precious gems of illegality sold for sometimes hundreds or thousands of credits. All magical items are illegal in the regions of Praugres that are not ruloandr territory, and many technological pieces are illegal for the general public such as military grade weaponry.

The most illegal piece of technology in the entire nation is the element 115 known also by its scientific name Ununpentium. Its so illegal because its just as dangerous as it is powerful and feared. The element is incredibly unstable and if were allowed to deteriorate and explode, it could level a city in seconds, and if harnessed it could create a weapon stronger than the new RIFT tech and Plasma tech being used by the military. Only a chunk the size of a human fist has ever gone missing and the authorities have no idea who took it or why, but whoever has it hasn't used it or sold it because Praugres and Andron are still standing.
