Special Traits: Dane inherited a genetic condition that causes many problems. Because there is no known cure for this condition he has resigned himself to a shorter life expectancy than most other humans and does not fear death.

Chronic Symptoms he experience include loss of sensation in extremities which is constantly progressing, sudden changes in behavior, and occasional fatigue.

During an attack he usually experiences severe fatigue, blurred or double vision, loss of balance and coordination, pain above and behind the eye, dilated pupils, sensitivity to light, and perceptual problems.

Bio: When the infection first appeared in Velios, humans tried to derive a medicine as a cure. After many failures they turned to genetic recoding. Dane's genetic code was the most compatible with the genetic recoding that gave humans immunity to the infection, however, he was far from a success. The recoding caused severe side effects that have the potential to shorten his lifespan.
