Bio: In Jormung's tribe, youths that demonstrate profound skill in their warrior training are adopted from their birth families to be raised by one of the noble families in a kind of warrior boarding school on the nobleman's land. He earned his place with the high Ongoth royal family at age nine, late for most adoptions. To prove his worth to his people, he was sent into the forest that winter with no clothes, weapons, or other possessions. A sheep had been loosed into the wood before him, and he was told not to let any of the wild beasts kill it for thirteen days. If he could do this and survive himself, he would prove himself as a warrior. He promptly ran down the yew and strangled it, being sure not to let it bleed. This way, he can prove that he and not a wild beast killed the sheep. It didn't hurt that he also returned home wearing the pelt of one wolf and carrying the body of another along with the sheep. Proven as clever and strong, the Ongoth took him in, and gave him the title "Filrudarrin," meaning "a wolf worth his salt." His fault fell when he was fifteen, and fell in love with the nobleman's daughter. When he proposed marriage and she accepted, her father was enraged that his daughter should marry into one of the low families. Jormung was shunned from the tribe, forced into a lifelong pilgrimage to atone for his sins.

Personality: Jormung is obsessed with redeeming his honor. He his highly religious and speaks loudly. He is not boastful, but he can be quick to anger is a bit of a show-off. He worships his gods zealously and prays for their protection. He despises the undead and unholy. There are some that find his desire to prove himself officious, but others value his unwavering devotion and loyalty.
