BASE_SEVEN the blob

BASE_SEVEN is a blob of grey goo of some sort about a cubic meter in volume. Nobody seems to know where the BASE_SEVEN came from however it does display a rudimentary ability to learn with slightly more intelligence than a dog and is capable of moving under its own power. It was given this name after during some experiments to determine its intelligence it was found that it could count in the number system of base seven (ie 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 20 21) It seems to be capable of detecting even slight vibrations in the ground and air and as such identifying others by their weight and footsteps as well as "hearing" the vibrations in the air. BASE_SEVEN can divide itself into an indeterminate amount of smaller blobs and squeeze through even the tiniest of gaps however they always seem to want to reform back into the larger blob.
